Pathways explained

Diplomas – for students with an ATAR of at least 50

UniSA College offers the Diploma in Arts, Business, Construction, Engineering, Health, IT and Science and the Environment. Successful completion of a two-year diploma guarantees entry into the second year of over 100 UniSA and UniSA Online degrees.

 

Foundation Studies – for students without an ATAR

Our Foundation Studies program (fee-free) is taught at our City West, Whyalla and Mount Gambier campuses. No previous qualifications are required to apply however a student must have either achieved their SACE or be 18 by 1 February or 1 July 2023. Students who complete this program may use their grade point average (GPA) to apply for entry into any UniSA degree. 

 

Undergraduate Certificate in University Studies – for students with an ATAR of at least 50

The Undergraduate Certificate in University Studies (Health) or (STEM) offers a unique pathway to a suite of STEM or health-related undergraduate degrees across UniSA, or other higher education providers. The six-month program is taught at the City West campus with part-time and online options.

Aboriginal Pathway Program – for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students

The Aboriginal Pathway Program (fee-free), taught over 18 months, is delivered at our City West, Whyalla and Mount Gambier campuses and in Ceduna and Port Lincoln. Students undertake nine courses which develop academic research, communication, and digital literacy skills, as well as discipline specific knowledge. Students apply directly here.

 

An opportunity for STEM students to help shape the future of UniSA programs

UniSA want to hear from year 10, 11 and 12 students interested in studying STEM at University. Eligible participants will receive a $100 e-Gift card for their participation. Sessions are held online and are completely confidential. All research is carried out in compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles. To participate – click here
