Year 10 Wilsons Promontory Outdoor Education Camp

It was my pleasure to take some Year 10 students to Wilsons Promontory National Park recently. This three day trip was postponed from March, due to Covid illnesses. A big thank-you to Allan Rennick for allowing the camp to go ahead in busy Term 4.

Several of the more popular tracks are still closed from storms in 2021 and some won’t reopen until late 2023.

This allowed us to explore the beautiful Lilly Pilly Gully rainforest and Mt Bishop walk. A distance of 12km. Later that day we headed over to Squeaky Beach, another 4km.

We were blessed with fine weather and the students swam each day. The sunsets were amazing. This is one of Victoria’s most beautiful places and always a pleasure to share with students.

Editor's note- Thank you to Mr Skewes and Erin Benham for once again for providing students with another memorable experience.
