ATAR CAMP - Miss Georgia Sharpe

In week 3, the Year 11 ATAR students went on their annual ATAR camp. Across the three days, students visited -

  • Trial sites and the warehouse at AGT
  • Toured universities UWA and Curtin
  • Participated in a group study session with ATAR students from WACoA, Narrogin
  • Visited Linley Valley Pork
  • and a private farm tour.

Students were fantastic ambassadors and showed the College in an exemplary light by showcasing their knowledge and participating fully in every opportunity.

Over the past couple of weeks the Year 11's have been working on their social issue component of the course. They have been tasked with the creation and explanation of TV advertisement that explores a particular social issue. The three classes have planned, scripted, and organised their adverts to show to their peers. Each group has gone to incredible lengths with their planning and the variety of issues covered within the different groups.

Miss Sharpe and Miss Tait would like to congratulate the students for all their efforts for this assessment and thank each group for showing maturity whilst filming some hard-hitting topics.
