Harvest Update
Everyone is waiting in anticipation for the College header to arrive, as it has been a long journey since we ordered the header 14 months ago. There is good news through (as seen on the twitter feed from Ben White) showing an aerial shot of 48 headers landing on the dock in Fremantle Port about two days ago! So, we are no orphan in this situation and I’m sure all our fellow farmers looking at this photo are on the edge of their seats ready to go.
As we all know, the machines will first have to pass all Border Security inspections and then have a pre-delivery inspection done at AFGRI before it's delivered to the farm. It won’t be long and the College will have Field bins ready in the paddock for our students to load up with Canola which is first on the harvest hit list for 2022. Wishing everyone a safe and blessed harvest.
Dinninup Show and Boddington Show
Wayne Laird, Marika Martini with 6 students attended the Dinninup Show on Tuesday 1 November 2022 and on Saturday 5 November 2022 with 7 students attending the Boddington Show. Starting with 5am wake up's, the students were off to show case their skills and knowledge they have learnt from Farm Enterprises. These events provide students with a huge number of opportunities to improve their knowledge and understanding of Merino Sheep and Wool, enhance their sheep handling skills, sheep judging and shearing skills. Attending also helps provide the students with opportunities to network with stud breeders and agricultural industry representatives.

We would like to thank all the Year 11's for being proactive and getting their dates organised for next year. The roster will be emailed out at the beginning of Term 1 2023.
Third Party Reports
We would like to thank all students for submitting their units they required a third-party report for completion over the summer break. All third-party reports have been sent out and if you have not received any, please come and see me before end of Term. If any parents or employers need clarification on the requirements to fill in the third-party reports, please don't hesitate to contact myself over the summer break to ensure we are supporting these students in receiving all the evidence towards their certificates.
