Halloween Special Dinner

A big thank you to our amazing kitchen staff Jess, Kylie, Christina, Helen, Precious, Beverley, Kate and Janine. The effort and absolute artistry that they put together for our Halloween Special Dinner was really something to behold. I have added photos but they really don’t do the presentation justice. 

Eyeball pasta, graveyard vegetables and white cheese sauce, spider eggs, chopped off fingers in buns and amputee stew. The deserts were incredible and the dining room was presented so beautifully. 

Every meal that is served from our College kitchen is planned and served to not only fulfil nutritional requirements but also with care and love in its presentation. All biscuits and sweets are homemade and the meat and eggs are produced on site. Any parent who has been to Open Day or another College event, will know the quality and high standard of food we serve to our students.

Thank you to the Student Councillors who organised the fundraiser side of the evening. I believe over $130 was raised for Aussie Helpers. Over 95% of students dressed up and got into the spirit of scaring us or making us laugh. Well done to scariest costume Ethan, best costume Brock and best group to Ann and Dani. Special mentions to Ken and Barby and Men in Black.

Uniforms

I have spoken to the Cunderdin Co-op today, to ensure they are ready to supply new uniforms for the Year 11’s who will need to get new uniforms for next year. Many of our current Year 11’s have ripped and dirty hi-vis trades and farm gear. Formal uniforms are also looking a little small on some of our students. Please put your orders in soon.
