Student Shining Bright

Last week and this week our students have continued to shine and apply all of the amazing skills they have been learning this year. This began last week when the 4-6 students attended our Urban Camp in Melbourne. Excursions and camps are an integral part of the holistic learning experiences offered at our school. The school’s camp program enables students to further their learning and social skills development as it provides opportunities and experiences that are not always possible within the confines of the school. Our camp program provides opportunities within the context of our Catholic principles and values that:

  • Develop deeper learning, confidence, independence, responsibility and sense of community
  • Promote self-esteem, resilience, resourcefulness and leadership
  • Extend learning beyond the classroom
  • Provide opportunities to explore different environmental settings
  • Develop an appreciation of the wonder of the world
  • Enhance physical, social and emotional growth
  • Promote growth of relationships

All of our students had amazing experiences and we enjoyed sharing this special time with them all. Thank you to our staff for all of their planning and for making such a successful camp.

Don't Forget our concert this week!

This is another way students have continued to shine this term. Students have been working hard to practise and present our amazing MAD Journey through Space! We can't wait to see you all there!
