I loved being a turtle, because I loved wearing a shell on my back. - Anteo (Yr 1)

I felt happy when I performed. - Katy (Yr 1)

I loved it because I can see my mum and dad. I loved it because I love my wings. Isabelle - Yr 1

WOW! What an amazing school production we have this year, it has been so amazing with the little mermaid jr. I was so nervous when I stepped on the stage but WOW, it was so easy after those months of practice. We performed so well and had an amazing time. - William (Yr 3)

This was amazing how cool was it to perform to so many people. It was so cool from being backstage, to getting on costumes and then getting on stage. Some people might say that it was scary but it was so fun. We could see everything and when I saw my parents I smiled and then I couldn’t stop and then the finale. It was the best! - Sean (Yr 3)

I found the production really fun and exciting. I loved the rehearsal and it was great to see everyone perform. One of the things that I enjoyed the most was the whole school finale but it was really sad to see it come to an end. When I first stepped on to the stage I was really scared but after a while I just enjoyed it. In conclusion I loved the production and everything leading up to it and I’m sad that it’s coming to an end. - Amy (Yr 6)

The Little Mermaid Jr school production went really well for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed my roles on the nights. I was Scuttle the seagull, and being a bumbling character the whole night, and making the audience laugh, was enjoyable. I was a little nervous before the show started, and afraid I would stuff up. But as soon as I got out there I was completely fine, and started having fun. On the other night, I was an incredible backstage crew member. Which, not going to lie, wasn’t nearly as fun as being Scuttle, but still a nice experience doing the behind the scenes work. Overall a great two nights and amazing experience, and I would love to do it again. Maybe not straight away though, because I’m tired of hearing my lines. The Little Mermaid Jr, I’ll remember that all right. - Dan (Yr 6)

I loved the production and everything about it! It was great making new friends throughout rehearsals, and that feeling of going out on stage for the first time. I played the role of Flounder. During rehearsals I made lots of new friends! The feelings on the night were all very nervous, in fact when someone asked me how I was feeling I couldn’t even speak. But, as soon as I stood on that stage, all of the butterflies started to flutter away. That was until my song, She’s In Love. As I went on to sing my heart away I decided I was going to have fun with it. It was so much fun to see all of my friends on the wings singing along and dancing with me as I sang happily. After that moment, the entire experience is all a bit of a blur, but it was still so much fun! The whole school finale was one of the best memories throughout the entire thing. Because, you knew that all of the stress was over, but then again that also meant that the fun was over too. - Tess (Yr 6)
