EAL Updates

Tutorial Group

We are pleased to share that we continue to work with volunteers from the Brookfield Lifestyle Village for our EAL tutorial group.

The ladies volunteer Monday through to Wednesday every week and complete  reading conferences with the students.  Their presence allows us to run a successful reading program with a ration of 1 adult to 2 students.

CALD Haven

CALD Haven is a lunch time activity that was set up to support students with their academic, social and extra-curricular work and activities.  We are receiving more aid this year, with teachers coming in on different days to help students in the EAL room.

Rising Star

Henry Lal Din Mawi is not only smart, funny and a talented artist... he's also a good singer.  Here he is performing for Staughton families and staff at the Year 7 BBQ.
