Black Belt Award

Congratulations to Year 6 student, Adhvik Aiyer, who was recently awarded his Black Belt in Karate! It was a five year journey to get to this point - Adhvik started in Year 1. 

Well done Adhvik! 

Bronze Medal at the Southern Metro Region Cross Country

On 23 June, Onkaar Lamba from Year 4 participated in the Southern Metro Region Cross Country at Ballam Park representing the Caulfield Little Athletics Centre.

Onkaar achieved his PB of 5 min 36 secs for 1.5km Cross Country. This was the best timing amongst his team and contributed towards  the Caulfield Athletics Centre Under 10-Boys team earning a Bronze medal at the Southern Metro Region Level.

Onkaar was extremely happy with his efforts and the results, while the medal was a cherry on the top! Well done Onkaar! 

Success at the Melbourne International Youth Music Competition

Edgar Chen, Year 6,  won first prize in his age group for his performance of La Cenerentola Op.86 No.7 by Dancla at the Preliminary Round of the Melbourne Youth International Competition held on 23 June. He was also in  the top 20 of all age groups.

Edgar has now qualified to compete in the Final Round of the Competition which will be held at the Deakin Edge this Saturday, July 28 at 2.15pm.
