Junior Swimming

Junior School

It has been a wonderful Term One with many amazing opportunities for the students to experience the wonderful world God has provided for us. Over the last few weeks we have been swimming. The lessons have provided our students with great opportunities to improve their swimming skills. It has been amazing to see the improvement that 9 consecutive days of swimming provides for our students. On Friday, we had the carnival and this was a huge amount of fun. A big thank you to all the teachers who managed getting the students organised for swimming and an equally big thank you to all the parents who washed bathers and towels every night.

In the Junior School classrooms, we have been taking our students through the book “The Lamb” by John R. Cross. This book gives a creation to redemption narrative of the gospel. It explains the central message of scripture and illustrates the true significance of the Lamb. I have had the privilege of reading a couple of chapters in different classrooms and the depth of understanding our students have about Christ is remarkable. It is truly the most rewarding undertaking to enlighten our children to wonder of Jesus and the redemption of mankind.

Have a wonderful holiday and may God reveal more of Himself to you this Easter.
