Overview OSHC Program
During the week 7 the children spent time with various arts and crafts.
The children made: pictures with finger paints, paper lanterns, paper weaving, paper plate puppets and paper chains. These experiences as well as other indoor activities such as board games, Lego, dolls house, beanie kids, IPads and computers provided individual time and group focuses.
The children also seemed very happy with the new tables and stools that were purchased with the fundraising money from our stall at side show alley. The activity room (which is used as our 2nd OSHC room) has been given a ‘mini makeover’ with new tables and stools, photos, signs, children’s games and activities and equipment for the OSHC children. This has made the space a lot more comfortable and inviting for the OSHC children for before and after school care.
Assessment & Rating Visit
Tuesday 24th November 2015 was the services Assessment and Rating visit from the EECSRSB. The assessor attended the service during before and after school care sessions as well as during the day to meet with the Director and Assistant Director. The children were very well behaved and didn’t seem to mind having a visitor at OSHC!
The visit had a positive vibe and we received a lot of encouraging feedback about the service, program, practice and educators. We will find out our rating in the near future and will let the OSHC community know the result ASAP.
I would also like to acknowledge all of the educators for volunteering their time and hard work and their support leading up to the assessment and rating visit to ensure we maintain a high quality of care service. Well done team!!

Please ensure you have filled out a new enrolment form for your child/ren prior to commencing OSHC; existing families must also fill out a new form to update all records. Forms can be collected from the OSHC room, front office or online on the LNPS website.

We have an exciting program for children in all age groups for the upcoming school holidays.
