Making an Impact

Alex Blair is making his presence felt playing with St Virgil’s in the Southern Old Scholars Football Association competition. After the first three rounds he has amassed 23 goals in the senior division. 

Alex went to St Bridget’s in New Norfolk for his primary education, before attending St Virgil’ 2011-2014 and was part of the school football teams’ success in winning the Tassie Hawks Cup in 2013 & 2014. 

After completing Year 12 at GYC, Alex moved to Geelong to commence his studies in physiotherapy at Deakin University. Whilst in Geelong he played with the Geelong West senior team in the Geelong, District Football League and gained selection in the league’s representative side. 

Since moving back to Hobart, Alex has commenced work at Kieser Physio in Argyle St and opted to join his good mate from school days, Jed Morgan, in playing for the Saints.
