Cooking with Chemistry

Our Year 9/10 Cooking with Chemistry classes have been in busy in the kitchen, cooking burgers, spaghetti carbonara and baking cakes. They are investigating the macromolecules in food - carbohydrates, proteins and lipids. They will be working towards their PBL, where each student will design and cook their own snack. They will make a delicious and healthy snack that contains a range of macromolecules and nutrients. We look forward to seeing their scrumptious creations!
