Legally Blonde JR

Finally, the day arrived! Eighteen months in the making we were finally able to showcase our inaugural Middle School Production of Legally Blonde JR.  What a voyage we have had.  From the initial Year 8 program, to zoom choreography lessons and then to have it remastered and open to all Year 7, 8 & 9 students.  It has been a journey.  

As a Director of numerous productions, this is the one that I am most proud of, the resilience and growth in maturity and confidence of the students was extremely heart-warming and gratifying.  The show could not have gone on without valuable support of the Girton Grammar leadership team, in particular Head of Department, Mrs Mandy Ellison; fellow thespian Mrs Jacinta Jackson; vocalist extraordinaire Mrs Jennifer Schatzle and our own dancing queen Miss Kaddison Kearin.  With immense support from Mr Adrian Hodda and the AV Team, Covid illnesses didn’t stop us shining.  

I look forward to seeing these young stars shine on in future school productions, bravo everybody!
