Stage 2

Mathematics

This week our focus has been on "angles". See below some amazing work the students have been doing. The students created their own flag using perpendicular lines. They created various angles using round paper and they made a farm using shapes with different angles.

Literacy

During writing we have been using Minecraft Education to look at character development and creating a setting for our narratives. The students have loved teaching each other how to use this application as unfortunately Mrs Wilson is not as skilled as the students!

Auslan

The students on Friday were learning Auslan as part of our Speaking and Listening activities. The students started to learn the alphabet so that they could greet the hearing impaired and say their name using sign language. 

Stage 3

In Stage 3, students have been refining their writing skills through exploring the impact of different types of sentences and descriptive language. Last week, students were presented with a stimulus image and had to write a paragraph based on the stimulus. Watch the clip below to listen to some of the amazing work of our students.
