A Message from the Principal

Mrs Pauline Long

Dear Parents and Carers,

Student Progress

At St Joey’s we take great pride in the fact we know each of our students as individuals and we track their learning growth to cater for student’s needs.

Over the next few weeks teachers will be collating data and writing a summary of each student’s learning. Teachers will then invite parents to a face to face meeting during the final two weeks of this term to discuss your child’s progress. I encourage all parents to take this opportunity to be involved in your child’s education.

Remember together we can make a difference and your child will benefit from your involvement.

Kindness Corner

Congratulations to Stella Mc Mahon for being the student who stood out for me showing kindness in our school community. Stella is the first to notice if a student needs a helping hand; particularly the younger students. She also happily assists me each day with opening a door with a tricky lock; even though she would rather be playing herself. Thank you Stella for your kind nature and being an excellent role model in our school.

PT & F Meeting

I encourage you to come along to our PT & F meeting this Thursday 9th June at 6.00pm in the  Year 5/6 classroom. If you need to bring your children they may play next door in Mrs Wilson’s room.

Kinder Enrolments for 2023

Don’t forget to spread the word that we are now taking applications for our Kinder class for 2023. We are very fortunate that the Catholic Schools Office is supporting our school to provide a separate Kinder class. Please encourage your friends to join our school community.

Enjoy the long weekend

and travel safely.
