DPS Coding Incursion 

Last week the Year 2, 3 and 4's were fortunate to spend the day learning how to code! They all started off using Code Camp World to design and code their own games.

They all learnt how to write code to control a character as well as adding coins to get more points. They did these using functions, 'if' statements, variables and loops. Everyone was very creative in choosing their main characters, the theme and game design! Our year 2, 3 and 4's started learning the basics of computational thinking and problem solving using the computer. 

All the students had lots fun time creating their own game as well as playing each others game.

Now they will be using their Codecampworld accounts to code more games at home.
