Visual Art with Mrs Boskovska

Term 3 has been exciting! The kiln has finally arrived, and we have been firing our amazing ceramics. 

‘Henri Rousseau Chameleon’ features a fun jungle artwork that our grade 5 explored! We explored with the watercolour resist technique where we used oil pastels first and watercolour last. Students learnt how to blend similar colours with oil pastels on their jungle leaves and chameleon. They then use wet on wet and wet on dry technique for their background.

We would also like to invite family and friends to our DPS Art Exhibition on the 6th of October 2022 at 4:30pm to 6:30pm. We are showcasing Prep to Grade 6 artwork and the Art Exhibition will be held in multiple locations around the school. A map will be provided on the day.
