Creativity Learning Expo!

Come along to our learning expo! In week 10 students will be sharing some of their learning from a term of creativity. 

We invite all families to pop into the classroom in the afternoon and share in our amazing learning!

Inter-schools Activity Challenge (ISAC) 

STEM Competition

Each year teams from local primary schools, compete in the ISAC STEM challenge. The competition is to design and build a structure to meet certain specifications using basic materials. 

The aim of ISAC is to encourage primary level students in their understanding of elementary mathematics and physics principles, via construction projects which challenge imagination, demand research, and hopefully lead to a better understanding of STEM education topics. 

The ISAC Challenge for 2022 is the construction and operation of a small model of the medieval catapult. We have a team of Year 5s and 6s who have been practicing creating their catapult and will be heading off to take part in the challenge this Thursday afternoon. We wish them the best of luck and we hope they have lots of fun!
