End of Semester Summary Reports

The enrolment period used to create the reporting profile for End of Semester Summary Reports is as follows:

  • Semester 1 –  Term 1 until the third last week of term 2.
  • Semester 2 – Term 3 until the third last week of term 4.

and 

  • Will be made available to families at the end of Semester 1 (term 2) and Semester 2 (term 4)
  • Will include a descriptor of the course completed, Learning Behaviours, Assessment Tasks, Outcomes and SACs/SATs
  • Cover page to include: Learning Behaviours rubric, explanation of Victorian Curriculum Levels, Alternate Victorian Curriculum Levels and Equivalence Table

Requirements for Data Entry not covered by Learning Tasks

  • Learning Behaviours
  • Victorian Curriculum Levels: Import these results from Learning Tasks. If results have been modified in Learning Tasks after an import, then you must reimport Victorian Curriculum Level results for any/all classes. The import process will provide the highest Vic Level achieved by the student in your Learning Tasks. You can make adjustments to the final Vic Level if necessary.
  • VASS: VCE and VCE-VM results, this will be distributed by the VASS Coordinator.
  • Comment: F-6 only (maximum 500 characters). Please note that this comment is to be written in the past tense.
  • Attendance: This can now be imported globally so there is no need to complete this. This is OK to leave blank. This will be imported by the IT Manager from your Compass attendance data.

VCE/VCE - VM Specific Guidelines

Units 1 & 2

  • VCE/VCE - VM Units 1 & 2 will be reported on each Semester. All outcomes, SACs, SATs and progress tasks are to be visible in Compass Learning Tasks (in line with VCAA requirements)
  • S/N unit results are to be present on Semester 1 & 2 reports

Units 3 & 4

  • VCE/VCE - VM Units 3 & 4 will be reported on eachSemester. All outcomes, SACs, SATs and progress tasks are to be visible in Compass Learning Tasks (in line with VCAA requirements)
