Congratulations Jones House on Winning the House Singing!

Sheer joy! Girton Grammar School’s annual House Singing contest made a triumphant return on Friday 2nd September.

Girton’s much loved and hotly contested House Singing competition returned to the Gym for a highly entertaining end to last week.

In their respective Houses, the entire Senior School cohort staged choreographed mass singing anthems with songs ranging from The Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back” to Bastille’s “Pompeii.”

Highlights included Riley House’s “I Will Survive/Survivor” mash-up and Aherne’s dance break in “Don’t Stop Me Now.”

With only six points separating third place to first, Jones House were judged to be this year’s winner with their rendition of “Fame.”
