SUPERHERO FATHERS DAY BREAKFAST | 30 AUG

“… there were smiles everywhere with fathers and kids playing, chatting, giggling and having fun.  We have missed so much over the last 2 years and are so happy to be able to celebrate Fathers’ Day again in person..”   - a Y2 parent, anonymous 

We thank everyone who has come to support us and are so pleased that everyone has enjoyed the event. 

All hands at the stove had been working non-stop serving more than 168 dads in 75 minutes, averaging 2.2 egg and bacon muffin per minute!!  Thanks to Pauline’s extraordinary budgeting skills, we used up everything that was ordered - including 295 mini-muffins/danish for the kids.

A special shoutout to Pauline, Madeline, Andrew, Liz, Sophia, Olga, Shield, Irene and Iris for volunteering their time that morning.    We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next event.

SUPERHERO FATHERS DAY STALL | 31 AUG – 2 SEP 

Our stall this year had a great variety of gifts for kids to choose from.   We were thrilled to see that everything was sold out by the end of the sale and that the P&F store room is finally cleared out.

A big thank you to Ann and Brooke for organizing the merchandise and set up.  There were over 20 volunteers involved in gift wrapping, setting up and selling on the days.   We are very grateful for all their support and contribution.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED

Another Sausage Sizzle will be organized in the November State Election.  This time we will be adding a Cake Stall as well!    We can do with a lot of help from our parents.

FUNDS RAISED BY P&F

We are looking for suggestions from parents regarding how we could best utilize the funds raised by P&F since beginning of this year through various events.   Profits we made are expected to spend on purchasing new items or enhancing facilities for the school, wherever is needed.   Suggestions from the P&F will be taken to the School Council for consideration. 

These are some of the suggestions we have received so far:

• New benches and shades 
• Outdoor playground resources
• Birdfeeders
