Sandhurst Arts on Show

As part of the Performing Arts Program at the College, Years 5 and 6 students participated in a program in collaboration with Catholic Education Sandhurst and The Australian School of Performing Arts (ASPA). The art forms of music, drama and dance were enhanced in this program, with professionals from ASPA providing workshops to students through regular school visits to develop the selected performance of the cohort.

The program culminated in a performance day last Tuesday, 30th August, with schools from the Diocese/Deanery combining to showcase their individual performances and massed items at 'The Arts on Show' performance day at the Kyabram Sports and Entertainment Centre. Our students represented our college beautifully, it was lovely to see the gifts that God has given us all celebrated at this wonderful event.

Reach Foundation - Years 11 and 12

On Tuesday 6th September, the Years 11 and 12 cohort participated in the Reach Foundation’s ‘Diverge’ workshop. The workshop aimed to provide us with the ability to prepare for life after school. Instead of informing us of the available jobs, the Diverge session was geared towards us figuring out what we value most in life and planning our futures around our values. Our presenters Cam, Ollie and Sam were terrific at prompting us to think critically about our future goals while also aiding us in sharing our plans with our peers.
