Annette Henson - Living Waters OSHC Senior Educator

Hi, I am Annette. I am from Sydney and have been in Alice Springs for twenty months. I have worked in the Child-care / Pre-school / OSHC setting for many years. I love animals. I like gardening, walking, arts and crafts, music, reading and nature. I love the landscape of Alice Springs and I will eventually retire here. I feel thankful that I am able to spend quality time with your children.

Monthly Program – August and September

The August Living Waters OSHC program was fun and busy. We created various art and crafts to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Children’s Day. We spent a lot of time talking about how we can look after our environment and spent time in the outdoors and ventured on nature walks. We also celebrated Book Week, where we dressed up and shared with our friends our favourite books and characters.

For the month of September, we have begun creating special and unique gifts for the Dad’s and Father Figures in our lives. We will be celebrating the start of Spring and exploring the various seasons and weather. To learn more about our Program feel free to have a look at the Living Waters OSHC Program Book and Floor Book, located in the hall every afternoon.

Upcoming Vacation Care and Pupil Free Day

Living Waters OSHC will be accommodating care on the Pupil Free Day on Friday 23rd September. Our service will be operating between 7:30am and 6pm.

The Term 3 Vacation Care programs will be operating from Braitling and Bradshaw OSHC. Living Waters families are welcome to enroll and/or book in either program. The two-week program is full of fun – including a visit from the Reptile Centre, active day guests including a jiujitsu instructor and soccer coach, excursions to the Desert Park, the Cinema and the Bowling Alley – and much more!
