Numerical Acumen Awards 2016
On Thursday the 30th of June, Christos, Paige, Dimitri, Brynn and Timothy from LA16 and 17 went to Prince Alfred Collage to get Numerical Acumen awards. They got awarded for dedication, improvement or performance.
Numerical Acumen is an online maths game for kids so they can improve their maths skills. You can practice adding, multiplying and fractions. There are levels you can choose from including starting out, moving on, no pain no gain and I have no fear.
The first thing thet did was watched some students from different schools demonstrate how the game works to the parents. Then some people from the People’s Choice Credit Union gave out the different awards.
Paige was given a dedication award, Dimitri and Brynn were given an improvement award and Christos and Timothy were given a performance award.
Congratulations to these hardworking Torrens students!
