Prefect Farewell Lunch

Our 2022 Prefect team were treated to a farewell lunch at the end of Term 3 as our way to say Thank You for their outstanding year of service to our school. Their dedication, commitment, camaraderie, and in general, the contributions they made to our school has been so greatly appreciated and will be sorely missed.

Our 2022 Prefects really have been one of the most amazing leadership teams that our school has had. They were truly outstanding in their organisation and planning, they have consistently shown us that they are independent, resourceful, hardworking, motivated, and above all, dedicated. They truly are assets to our school community and their presence will be missed.

Each student showed the vital qualities necessary to be leaders.

Every member of the team displayed maturity, they are responsible, driven, compassionate, wise, supportive, sincere, generous, and above all, they are loyal. Their loyalty to each other, and commitment to our school made us proud.

Whilst it is a sad time for the school to be saying farewell to such a dynamic group of individuals, we also know that they are all destined for greater things and we hope that their time at JBHS has equipped them all with the necessary skills to maximise their potential and build on their leadership skills.

Prefects: Nothing is ever out of reach, you just have to have faith and self worth and believe in the power of YES.

Thank you for your service to the school, Prefects. You know that you have made a huge impact on the school, staff and students and now it is your time to think about how you will forge your own futures. Treasure the beautiful memories and friendships you have made at JBHS, and remember the fun times spent at the JBHS Library and in your classes with your teachers and peers. Those memories and moments are irreplaceable.

So we bid you farewell and say Thank You for the incredible contributions you made to our school.

Good luck, and always know that my door is always open.

And remember to always look up (except when you look down - there's ALWAYS money on the ground!)
