NSWCPS Netball Competition

There is a lot of buzz going around the school in regards to the Sydney Netball Trip. The students are very excited to say the least. I have included the information that went home via Compass as I am aware that looking at this on anything other than a computer is very difficult.

Date:  Tuesday 30th August 2022

Venue:  Jamison Park Netball Complex, York Road, Penrith

Cost: $100.00 includes bus, accommodation, entry fees and dinner Monday night and breakfast on Tuesday (the school is subsidising the cost of bus for the students).

Accommodation:  Cables Wake Park, Penrith

(Unfortunately there is no extra accommodation available where the girls will be staying, however the Penrith Leagues Club is a 2 minute walk from Wake Park and is also where the teams will be having dinner on the Monday night).

Travel:  Students will travel via bus.

All spare seats on the bus to Sydney have been filled. Please consent and pay via Compass.

Please ensure the following items are packed in an overnight bag.

  • Packed lunch and snacks for Monday, plus snacks and or lunch money for Tuesday
  • Drink bottle (plenty of water), sunscreen and netball visor
  • St Edward’s netball uniform including St Edward’s school sports socks
  • Pyjamas/underwear and toiletries and a towel
  • Money for McDonalds or something similar on the way home on Tuesday.

Students are to come to school as normal on Monday 29th August dressed in comfortable travel clothes and fully enclosed shoes (NO thongs or sandals). The bus will leave once all students are marked on the roll (no later than 9.00am). This will allow plenty of time for travel and convenience stops and an early arrival at our accommodation at Cables Wake Park, Penrith.  A message will go out on Compass with an ETA for Tuesday night.
