CSDA Debating

Last Friday evening the 12B team won their debate against Patrician Brothers College, Fairfield and move to the Finals event this Friday where they will face the Loreto, Normanhurst A team. Congratulations to this brilliant Year 12 team and their dedicated coach, Mr Ryan Balboa for achieving outstanding results this year.

On the same night, our amazing Year 10 debaters lost to St Patrick's College, Strathfield. At this level of the competition the teams are very closely matched and the result comes down to small specifics in each team's debate. Our Year 10 team and their amazing coach, Ms Natasha Foley deserve to be so proud of achieving such a high standard in debating this year. Celebrations for all teams will take place in a few weeks time but for now congratulations to our wonderful Year 10 team.

This Friday the 12B's will travel with Mr Balboa to OLMC, Parramatta for the Finals event. They will arrive at OLMC for a 5.30 pm registration and 6.00 pm coin toss. The debates should commence around 7.10 pm and conclude around 8.15 pm.
