Years 11 to 12 Term 3 Block Exam Schedule

Year 12 Trial Exams

In the second week of the September holidays (26 to 30 September), Trial Exams will be run for all Year 12 subjects. The Trial Exam Block will have three sessions each day starting at 9:00 am, 12 noon and 2:00 pm, respectively. A timetable will be published closer to the date. Whilst these Trial Exams are not compulsory, it is strongly recommended that all students take this additional opportunity to practice their content knowledge and skills and receive valuable feedback from their teachers.

Business In The Real World!

Last week, our Year 10 Business and Enterprise students spent the morning at VEND Marketplace to attend a presentation from the owner about planning their small business venture. Students were able to investigate products, prices and stall design. Follow the Business Department’s Instagram account, ccbusinessdept, to stay tuned with some exciting changes taking place this year.

Faith Week

We have been celebrating Faith Week around the College over the last few days.  The theme of ‘Big Ideas – Hope’ has been the focus.  On Monday, Rev Fa Matangi was our guest speaker for the Senior School Chapel Service. She encouraged us to think about the big idea of “together we are greater”. She reminded us that when we work together, we bring our individual unique contributions to a group which God’s Spirit uses to achieve far more than simply the sum total of the individuals.

Activities during the week have included making “Hope” flags in the form of bunting to brighten the Chapel Courtyard, a Faith Week banner, chalk drawing in the Amphitheatre and a trivia quiz at lunchtime. Faith Week will finish tomorrow with a Dance Party on the Oval and some delicious cake.

Jeans for Genes Day

Friday 5 August

As we know, the Campbell Cowgirls love their blue, and love their blue jeans! Campbell House is proudly supporting our College Fundraiser for Jeans for Genes day next Friday 5 August. For a gold coin donation, all primary and secondary students can come to school dressed in appropriate denim attire! Every dollar we donate goes directly to the Children’s Medical Research Institute and helps them find treatments and cures for children’s genetic diseases.

Did you know that…

1 in 20 kids face a birth defect or genetic disease
Kids just want to be kids, but instead of playing sports with their friends or catching butterflies on a sunny day, kids with genetic diseases are getting liver transplants, taking dozens of medications, or getting their next dose of chemotherapy. It shouldn’t be this way. By donating through Jeans for Genes, you can help the scientists at Children’s Medical research Institute find cures, so these kids can go back to being kids. No child's life should be cut short. We will do all within our power to change "incurable" to "curable".
