Singing Recital

Tuesday 26 July 2022

Last night I was lucky enough to be invited to the BNPS singing recital in the Year 6 building. Our resident singing teacher Susie King showcased her student’s talent. There were students from Year 2 to Year 6 represented. It was pleasing to see the students shine on stage and watch their confidence blossom. The students sang a variety of songs and finished the night with the whole group singing Dancing Queen.

A big CONGRATULATIONS to all the students that participated.

Raph J, Olivia P, Maya W, Angela A, Sophie H, Nancy W, Verity W, Namkha P, David S, Harper F, Veronica S, Amelia W and Ebony C.

This is a quote that Susie included in the program.

The Music Department is an alternate universe where pupils are often unrecognisable from who they are outside of it. The shy become confident. The agitated become clam. The lonely become included. The quiet become heard. And the lost become found. Music reveals the real child.
