Griffith University Open Day

On 14 August, from 9 am to 2 pm, Griffith University will be holding its Open Day at both their Gold Coast and Nathan campuses. At the Open Day, you will be able to get useful information, chat with staff and students to learn about Griffith degrees and admission pathways. Applications for START QUT (STEM Intensive)

Do you really like STEM subjects? QUT is offering the START QUT (STEM Intensive), a free two-week program held in January 2023, where Year 11 students can undertake a first-year STEM unit led by academics and current QUT students. Units available include Information Technology, Space Exploration, Natural Disasters and Engineering.  Applications are now open and close on 24 August 2022. Click here to find out more, including how to apply.

NIDA courses in Brisbane during the September holidays

The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) will offer several short and school holiday courses through to December for students in Years 7 to 12. Some courses are:

  • Acting on Screen Years 11 and 12 
  • Drama for Years 7 to 10
  • Acting on Screen Years 7 and 8
  • Acting on Screen Years 9 and 10
  • Acting for Years 11 and 12
