Celebration in the ORC
MORE than 200 parents, carers and students enjoyed a delicious breakfast this morning in the O'Reilly Centre, at the early-morning Celebrating Parents & Carers Breakfast organised by the College Parent Committee.
While two coffee vans supplied the hot drinks, families enjoyed platters of delicious food while mingling with fellow members of the College community and staff.
The Year 11 student volunteers did a great job of serving coffee and handing around platters. Thanks also to our Facilities staff for setting up.
The Parent Committee hosts several events each year - and while two breakfast mornings are usually held, around Mother's Day and Father's Day, this year it was decided to combine the two. Raffle prizes were drawn and a special thank you was given to outgoing Parent Committee member Mrs Elizabeth Martin who now leaves the committee after many years of service.
The Parent Committee would like to hear from parents and carers about running future events. If you can spare some time to be involved, please email PHawke@norbert.wa.edu.au

THE next event hosted by the Parent Committee will be a presentation by leading teen cyber safety expert, Paul Litherland, at the College on Tuesday, 20 September at 7pm, following a Parent Committee Meeting at 6pm.
