PRAYER

Loving God, we thank you and praise you for who you are,

for your unending love for us and your creation of these lands on which we now live.

We thank you for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, the First Australians, who you placed as stewards and custodians of these lands and waters.

St Norbert, pray for us

Six seasons: Djilba has arrived

As the South-West is  hit with cold, wet and stormy weather, we are entering Djilba. Rains fill the lakes and waterholes, and the koolbardi (magpie) will begin to swoop as they protect their young. The temperature will become warmer as we move through Djilba, which spans August and September. Yellow and cream flowers begin to bloom.
