Recognition Week for Support Staff

This week in NSW Public Education is SASS Recognition Week and I would like to personally thank our administration staff, school learning support officers and general assistants for the incredible work they do every day to support the students and our school community. At our place, everyone is there to help, lend a hand, support each other and work as a team to make our school the best. Thank you – you are all greatly appreciated.

New Staff

Staffing continues to be difficult in our school and across the state, so I am very excited to welcome two new teachers to our school. Ms Rebecca Edwards and Mr Hugh Rasmussen join our staff and will be based on the campus side. Both Ms Edwards and Mr Rasmussen come to our school with a wealth of teaching experience.

Our school also welcomes new Support Officers Ms Taylor Collins and Ms Cassie Leathem, who returns after a few years away.

We sadly farewelled Mr Dederer, Mrs Gascoyne and Ms Burns who all picked up full-time work and Mrs Brennan who has moved to Paris, France. Thank you for being part of our team and supporting the students and staff of our school.

Two new Occupational Therapists have started at our school as well - Ms Olivia Gay and Ms Cory Dundon. They will be working with Mrs Michelle Maunder who has been working with our school for the past 6 years. All OTs are part of SEED Paediatric Services and are an integral part of the support provided to our students and to staff in building their capacity.
