GARDEN HERB STALL

4K is hosting the stall this term and their stall day is Wednesday afternoons from 3.30 - 3.45pm.

Hope to see you all there to support them.

Our delicious olives are now back on sale!

WHITE YOGHURT POT LIDS

This may be a strange request for a garden class, but with the advent of spring, we have had huge numbers of cabbage moths invade the garden. I'd like to try some natural predator methods to deter them, so with LARGE yoghurt pot lids (WHITE ONLY PLEASE!) we can try to make decoy moths and place them around our veggie beds.

Once again, clean lids please and we'll give our experiment a try. I'll keep you posted.

Please leave the lids in a plastic bag on the garden potting bench.

SEEDLING POTS STILL NEEDED

The garden program would greatly appreciate the donation of small seedling pots.

So, if, with the advent of spring, you are busily planting in your gardens, please consider recycling your seedling pots, by bringing them to the garden.

The small, deep pots, as shown in this photograph, are perfect!

JARS PLEASE

Thank you to the people who have already given us their clean jars for our olive bottling.

We could still use some more for our olives, so if you are able to bring some to school, the following still applies:

our request is for SMALL /MEDIUMclean/ label free jars please!

Please leave the jars OUTSIDE on the garden potting bench.

Thank you in advance,
