Teaching & Learning  1BP

Over the past two weeks, we have been busy having fun in Grade 1BP!

We are learning to work cooperatively in partnerships, small groups and as a whole class in a variety of areas. 

To give our brains a break between Literacy and Numeracy sessions we dance and sing! We also played tunnel ball to develop our ability to concentrate and work together as a team.

We read ‘Pig the Star’ and worked together to create our own costume out of newspaper. We helped each other measure, fold, cut and tape the paper to make our designs. As you can see, they were very impressive!

Together we made crowns, gowns, capes, masks, swords and animal costumes. What a cooperative and creative bunch of children!
