Reminder - Church Street Driveway will be closed this afternoon - Friday 19th March
A reminder that as advised earlier this week via Operoo, the DRIVE THROUGH in Church Street will be CLOSED on Friday 19th March due to a Funeral at 2:30pm.
The following arrangements will be in place for 3:20pm pick up today:
- Students will be directed by staff to cross at the Church Street School Crossing and walk along Church Street, then down Tulloh Street to Drum Reserve (railway reserve).
- Staff will assist and direct students at various points along the route between school and Drum Reserve.
- Parents and caregivers should pick their children up at Drum Reserve - both drive through and parking access is available.
- McCormick Road will remain for buses only.
Sacramental Program
An Information Night about our upcoming Sacramental Program was held last night at St Augustine's Church. It was wonderful to see so many parents and caregivers come along to find out more about the Sacraments for their child. If you missed the event or would like further information about the Sacramental Program please contact Mrs Alma Limbrick (Pastoral Associate) at St Augustine's Parish (Thursdays) 5852 1026 or Miss Kylie Morrissey (Deputy Principal: Catholic Identity and Community) at St Augustine's College.
A reminder that Sacramental Program enrolment forms are due back to Alma at the parish by the end of Term 1.
Family Engagement Core Group
The Family Engagement Core Group met at the College on Monday evening. Planning is underway to facilitate further experiences for parents and caregivers to support their child's learning and wellbeing in Term 2. Stay tuned!

F-4 Lunchtime Activities
We are very excited to be able to offer our F-4 students the opportunity to engage in lunchtime activities which launched on Monday. This initiative was developed to support students to interact with their peers in traditionally unstructured times of the school day. Lunchtime activities are an opportunity for students to have fun and interact, including with peers from different year levels, who have similar interests and passions. Lunchtime activities are known to create many benefits for students, including:
- Improving social skills
- Increased friendships
- Promoting peer social acceptance
- Engagement in teamwork, co-operation and collaboration
- Increasing feeling of safety whilst at school
- Learning social cues and opportunity to practice social skills

Old Lockers and Filing Cabinets

Please Check Lost Property by the End of Term
We have a number of items of lost property at the College Office including items from the swimming carnival. If your child is missing anything, please call into the office to check before the end of term. All unclaimed items will be donated to the second hand uniform shop and St Vincent de Paul during the school holidays.
Footpath Works in Tulloh Street
A works advice notice has been received by the College from the Campaspe Shire Council for a reconstruction of the footpath kerb ramps at the school crossing in Tulloh Street. The works will be undertaken during the Term 1 school holidays.
Please avoid this area whilst works are being undertaken.
Are you a Sheep Farmer? We are looking to adopt some lambs.
We are very excited to be running an Agriculture and Horticulture subject for our Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 students this year.
To assist us in the delivery of the subject, we are on the hunt for some poddy lambs. If you are lambing in late summer or autumn and happen to end up with some unfortunate lambs that need hand rearing, please contact Steph Challis at school or by email stephaniechallis@sakyabram.vic.edu.au
Indigenous Writing Competitions

This has 3 categories and all ages can enter.
Entries close 30th April.
Wellness Writing Competition is also available to all age groups.
Entries close 26th March.
CSEF - Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund
Applications for the Victorian Government's Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) are now open and must be submitted to the College Office before the last day of Term 2 - 25th June, 2021.
CSEF provides payments for eligible students to attend activities such as:
- school camps or trips
- swimming and school-organised sport programs
- outdoor education programs
- excursions and incursions
