Library News

Scholastic Book Club

We have had our two Book Club issues for Term 1. Thanks to those parents who have supported us by buying items from the catalogues. It has earned us $200 in rewards to spend on books for our Library.

Resources available from the Library

Did you know that the library has digital cameras, green screens, new magazines as well as great new current books to read.  A great example of a new book is Muffled by Jennifer Gennari which is about a girl with sound sensitivity. It has lovely messages about kindness, consideration, friendship and being independent.  If your child liked Wonder, I think they will like this one too.

The Foundation to Year two students have been looking at friendship through the book Henry Turnip. They have coloured in pictures of Henry and his new friend, Reuben Moon.

Overdue Books

As we approach the end of term students should be thinking about finding their overdue books to return. We are still looking for some books from 2020. The library will set up an Amnesty Box at the College Office for students to drop books into if they do not want to come into the library to return their books.

Interactive Whiteboard

Our interactive whitebaord is back in action after a short break for repairs. Students love to do the jigsaw of the book cover for this week’s story.
