News from the Prep Room

On the first day of school, we played games, made calendars, went on the playground, did some puzzles, drew some pictures, and made friends.

In Prep during Term 1, we have been learning the letters of the alphabet. We have made lots of things. We made apples for Aa. We cut out the sides from a paper plate and turned them into the leaves. We added some seeds too. We made origami butterflies when we learnt the letter Bb. We made tigers when we learnt about the letter Tt. Their eyes could move. We made ice cream for the letter Ii. We made Neapolitan ice creams. They had chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry scoops. We made pancakes for the letter Pp and helicopters for the letter Hh. We also planted some seedlings with the help of one of our mums, thanks Danielle. 

A Visit from the Easter Bunny

The Preps were very excited to see the footprints left by the Easter Bunny as he/she delivered them some eggs.
