Canberra Study Tour (PACER)

Students from our school will soon be undertaking, an education tour of the national capital. Students will be given the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational programs with a focus on Australia’s history, culture, heritage and democracy.

The Australian Government recognises the importance of all young Australians being able to visit the national capital as part of their Civics and Citizenship education. To assist families in meeting the cost of the excursion the Australian Government is contributing funding of $45 per student under the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate program towards those costs. The rebate is paid directly to the school upon completion of the excursion.

Sibling enrolments for 2022

I would ask that parents who have a child commencing Prep in 2022 please enrol their child by the end of February so we can determine how many places will be available to new families for 2022. Enrolment forms can be downloaded from the website or collected from the school office.

Thanks so much!!!!

Project Compassion 2021

On Tuesday your child would have come home with a project compassion box. This year Caritas Australia is raising money to end poverty, promote justice and uphold dignity in Myanmar and Bangladesh. This year's theme is 'BE MORE', coming from St Oscar Romero's quote "Aspire not to have more, but to be more."

The Year 6 Social Justice leaders attended the launch via Zoom and heard about the difference even small donations can make. It would be amazing if you could support the work of Caritas during lent through any silver and gold coin donations into your Project Compassion box. If these could please be returned to school during Week 10 (Starting Monday the 29th of March), that would be amazing.

Thank you from the Social Justice Team and Mr AM
