MVP's
Most Valuable Person Award
Each week we have been holding a mini primary assembly in the BER. At the assembly we share announcements, talk about school values, celebrate birthdays and hand out our weekly MVP awards. In the not too distant future we hope to allow parents to attend. The assemblies run approximately from 9:05 - 9:20 each Monday morning. Students who receive an MVP awards have their photo taken and added to their certificate which is then displayed on the MVP board in the BER for a week.
What is an MVP?
A MVP is a student who has being working well in and out of class. It is not a token award, it has to be earned. A Most Valuable Person is one who continually and consistently follows the school values and works hard at all aspects of the school curriculum, also helps others thus creating a more positive learning environment. When a student wins an MVP award they have been clearly demonstrating the values of respect, resilience and responsibility.
MVP certificates are handed out by classroom teachers, specialist teachers and the school principal.
Well done to the students for winning MVP's so far this year.
