From our Principal

Our Evolving Facilties

We are excitedly moving into our new building which will provide fantastic new resources for our students to study Agriculture, Primary Industries (VET), Industrial Technology and mandatory technology.  The TAS (Technical and Applied Science) Centre has been created to give students the space and equipment to design and construct projects for HSC Industrial Design and HSC Design and Technology as well as a purpose-built laboratory for Agricultural studies and Primary Industries.  We have started to move the furniture into the building and students and staff will begin to use the facility in Term 3.

This building will also mean the end of using the portables, this is surely an indication that we are established as a school and no longer just ‘starting out’.  We will continue to grow and develop with students and changes in education of course but to have all classes now running in permanent rooms is a wonderful achievement.

This has been achieved through the great work of the School Board and the financial team both past and present who have worked to develop the vision of the school.  It has also been achieved with the work and support of our families.

With the completion of the first semester at the school, I feel very privileged to be in this beautiful environment.  We are very fortunate to have not only the physical resources of the school but the families, students and staff who create the dynamic learning environment we have on a daily basis.
