TAFE Update : Last Thursday 31 Students commenced their TAFE courses at Riverina TAFE. During their studies, students will be required to complete 2 weeks of work placement. Times and dates are determined by TAFE teachers, and it is the student's responsibility to get their Work placement forms signed by myself or Mr LeBrocque. As some of the TAFE course run at different times, unfortunately, some classes will be missed. As part of the TAFE courses agreement is that Students are responsible to catch up on missed work, and notify their teachers if there are any clashes with upcoming assessments.

VET @ MCC

Yr 11 Hospitality/Business/Fitness students are required to attend 2 information sessions regarding enrolling in your VET courses at school, work readiness, work placement information. 

Students are to bring a Pen, laptop and USI number. If they are yet to receive a USI please bring in a photo of their Medicare card. There will be a sign on sheet on arrival for students to sign to confirm attendance.

These sessions are compulsory, please meet in L8G at the below times: 

CEDWW Induction :  9am-10am- Wednesday 26th Feb- L8G

COMPACT Induction : 10am-11am- Thursday 27th Feb- L8G

SBAT Update 

This year we have 8 students signed up to undertake an SBAT(School Based Apprenticeships/Traineeships). Ranging across a diverse range of employment sectors. In addition to their HSC they are able to commence their Apprenticeships/Traineeships at school, which means when leaving school they will have their studies underway and be classified as 2nd Year apprentices. Students are able to enrol to do an SBAT in Yr10, and Yr 11 students may still apply by the end of Term 1. 

Congratulations to the following students- it's exciting seeing these students stepping up for the opportunity.
