Billy Cart Racing

The Lockyer Valley Billy Cart Association will be holding its first inaugural billy cart derby at Lake Apex Park

Apex Drive Gatton on Sunday the 19th of April 2020 commencing at 8.30am with safety scrutineering from 7am

Practice runs will be available from 1pm to 5 pm on Saturday 18th Lake Apex Park Gatton

Entry fee will be $10.00 per driver for the both days.

Schools and Community groups of the Lockyer valley are encouraged to participate by representation of your group in the race and/or by having a market stall selling products on the Sunday the 19th

Eg: food , drinks , cakes, craft items made by your group these are just some of the examples, this is an opportunity for your community group, to not only have a fun filled day with the families of the Lockyer valley, but also to make some money on the day for your community group. Stall sites on the day will be 6m x 3m and only $10 per site multiple sites can be purchased. Bookings for sites are now open. Send your request to lockyervalleybillycart@gmail.com please state how many sites you wish to use and what you will be selling or promoting. Stall holders must a current indemnity insurance policy

There is a limited number of 36 drivers for each of the 6 categories, under 8s, under 12s.under 16s. “Team” / School Event. Adult event over 16s. Community groups/ Businesses

Other awards for the best dressed team and most imaginative billy cart design

Trophies will be awarded for 1st,2nd,3rd placings.
