Sports Report
GWR Athletics
Eighteen brave students went to Ballarat on Monday 16th September to compete at the Regional Athletics finals. It was a bitterly cold day, but at least the rain held off until we were all back in the bus heading for home. Many students threw, jumped or ran personal bests, which is what athletics is all about. At the end of the day Baimbridge finished with two bronze, three silver and two gold medals. Only those who finished first progress to the next stage of competition, which is the state final on 18th October. We wish Kororaina Karatau-Keightley and Emily Pitts well for this event. Please see results below for those who represented the Baimbridge College. Thanks, must go to Will Barber who has coached many of the athletes leading up to the competition and Mrs Cynthia Longbottom for helping on the day.
