Year 9/10 Agriculture Happenings

The Year 9/10 Ag class have been busy preparing garden beds for planting of vegetable seedlings. They were taking part in a project to grow produce and sell to staff, seeing if they could make a profit. All was going extremely well until we had our first frost which killed many of our newly planted seedlings. They also cleaned up the vegetable garden area, pulling out fence, mowing and whipper-snipping. They continue to nurture those seedlings that survived. Fingers crossed for some sort of a yield from the garden.
