From the Principal

Dear Families,
What beautiful weather we are experiencing this Autumn! Aren't we truly blessed!
As we enter into our third week of the term, I hope that all of our students are settled and that are focusing well on their learning endeavours. Continue to talk with your children about their learning and what specifically they are trying to improve and areas in which they are endeavouring to make progress. It is important that we encourage our children to have a 'growth mindset' to have them reflect on their strengths as well as areas for focus. They need to be able to develop a 'can do' rather than 'I can't do it attitude.'
Eucharist Year 4
We look forward to meeting with Parents of our Year 4 students at this evenings Information and Faith Formation night which will be held in the Bridgidine Learning Centre at 7pm.
There will be babysitting available for families during the meeting if needed in a classroom in the Brigidine Learning Centre.
Library..... is up and running!
This week our students were able to access and use the Library! They are so excited and gave it a rating 10/10!!!!! Specialist Library classes will now held each week in our beautifully refurbished area. We are still organising our computers and other technology into this area, but we are very pleased with how this learning space has been transformed. I thank Marg Klupacs Maryanne Denning , Liz Szabo and the team for their ongoing work with the Library!
Please ensure your children P-2 bring a Library bag to school to borrow books.
Anaphylaxis - Risk management
Just a reminder that as we have several students with anaphylaxis we ask that you do not bring in nut products or food cooked in nut oil for our Post Mass Morning Teas. Thank you for your support.
A few reminders.....
There is a staff member on back gate and front carpark from 8:30am. There is no teacher supervision before this time. Students can access Out of Hours School Care run by Camp Australia. It begins at 6:30am - 8:30am and again from 3:15 - 6:30pm.
Please obey all parking signs and speed limits. Be patient and courteous when picking up and dropping off students.
Open Day - TOMORROW May 3rd
Our final Open Day will be tomorrow Thursday May 3rd with tours at 9am, 10am and 2:15pm! Please spread the word with your friends and colleagues. Parents are the greatest advocates for our school. We hope to finalise all enrolment interviews and letters of offer shortly
