Croydon Community Precinct
Hello everyone,
You may have heard of developments of a draft Masterplan for the future enhancement of the Croydon Community Precinct. This may also include community hubs and multi use spaces for community members.
We’re seeking feedback from community members and really want to ensure our youth service providers have a say on this project, to make sure this space is designed with you and your cohorts in mind.
- What community facilities would complement the precinct?
- What would you recommend to ensure it suits your young people?
- Are there accessibility needs that should be considered?

Croydon Skate Park Competition
Together with YMCA and Skate Park League, Maroondah City Council's FReeZA Committee, Bassline Productions, are running The Croydon Skate Park competition! The Skate, Scoot and BMX competition is open to all ages and abilities. Don't skate? Don't worry! There will also be a jumping castle, Sausage Sizzle and stallholders at this event.
When: Saturday October 19th from 11am-4pm
Where: X and Y Space, Croydon
Heats:
11:30 - 12:20 - 14 & under
15 & over Scoot, 12:45 - 1:20 - 14 & under, 15 & over BMX
2:00 - 3:50 - 12 & under, 16 & under, open heats Skate.
