2019 Region Athletics

On Friday the 11th of October forty-seven Ringwood students headed out to the Knox athletics track for the Eastern Metropolitan Region Athletics competition. It was a great day  with beautiful weather and wonderful school spirit on display. Congratulations to all the students who participated on the day and who tried their absolute best. As a school we finished fourth on the day which was an excellent effort.

We had some outstanding individual and team performances on the day with lots of students placing in the medals.

Best of luck to the following students who will be competing at the State Athletics Championships on Friday the 18th of October.

Abbey Whitaker (14Yr Discus), Ella Hose (14Yr Multiclass Shot put), Ciara Willey (13Yr 1500m), Angus Norman (15Yr 1500m), Jasmin Hass (16Yr 1500m walk), Tyrese Pomponio, Evan Cribb, Jack Martin, Luke Anderson (15Yr  Relay).
