Congratulations to our FIRST® LEGO® League team who have won the NATIONAL TROPHY for the Best Robot design!

The team flew to Melbourne to compete in the National Championships on Saturday, following their fantastic achievements at the State Finals.

The students have been diligently rehearsing at school and were very excited to compete interstate.

Accompanying teacher, Mr Mike Worley, commented that their presentation was of such a high standard and that the judges were so impressed, saying that our students were able to maintain a discussion on coding at a University level!

Congratulations and well done on a fantastic result to the team including Nick (Year 8), Caleb (Year 8), Joseph (Year 10), Isaac (Year 9), Matthew (Year 8), Hudson (Year 8), and Jessica (Year 7).

Thank you to Mr Mike Worley, Mrs Paige Edwards and Mr Paul Van Wezel for enabling the interstate trip to occur at short notice and to Mr and Mrs Phua for ably transporting our Lego gear to and from Melbourne and bringing home the coveted trophy!
